- On mobile, swipe left or right to switch between Track, Results, and Settings
- Tap the dot indicators at the top to jump to a specific tab
- On desktop, use the tab bar at the top
Track Tab
- Select a player, pitch type, zone(s), and result
- You can select up to 2 zones per pitch (e.g. Inside / Low)
- Selecting any result shows the "First Pitch" option — tap it to mark a first pitch
- Selecting Out reveals out type options (Ground Ball, Fly Ball, K-Looking, K-Swinging)
- Tap "Submit Pitch" to record — pitch type, zones, and result reset automatically
- Pitch types shown are filtered per player (configure in Settings)
- Live Results on the right show pitch breakdowns for the selected player
- Color coding: green (56%+ effective), yellow (40–55%), red (below 40%)
- Use "Undo Last Pitch" to remove the most recent entry
Results Tab
- View detailed statistics filtered by player or date range
- Columns: # (total), K% (strikes + fouls), B% (balls), Eff (effectiveness), FPS (first pitch strike %)
- On desktop, H% (hit) and O% (out) columns are also shown
- FPS% counts any non-Ball result on a first pitch as a first pitch strike
- Export PDF generates a printable report including FPS% stats
Settings Tab
- Add, rename, or remove players
- Customize pitch types and zones to match your needs
- Tap "Pitches" next to a player to configure which pitch types they throw
- Renaming a pitch type or zone updates all existing records
- Upload a team logo to display on exported PDF reports
Data Management

- Export All Data — export everything
- Import Data — import a .pitchdata, .json, or PDF report file
- Exported .pitchdata files are compatible with the Pitch Stat Pro iOS app
Data Storage
Your data is stored locally in your browser. It persists across browser restarts and device reboots. However:
- Clearing your browser data or site data will erase your data
- Private/Incognito mode does not save data — it is wiped when the window closes
- Different browsers maintain separate data (e.g. Chrome and Safari do not share data)
- We recommend exporting your data regularly as a backup
